“I identify as both, but professionally speaking, I prefer African-American. I'm of African descent, but I was born in America. I have no problems being identified as black, but from a professional standpoint, African-American fits better.”

Oakland, California native Kevin E. Eastman thrives on simplicity and logic. A skilled mentor and community activist, he shoots straight from the hip when discussing personal development. He is a proud U.S. Air Force veteran, and member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. He enjoys interacting with people, sports, cooking traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

Book Synopsis - A self-development book that combines person experience, logic and observation to form a common sense approach, to assist in overcoming many of life's obstacles that are thrown at you. The topics discussed are tough, but presented in an easy-to-read, fun, engaging, and informative way. A must read for anyone tired of "detours" blocking the path to success and happiness.
